You’re Not Born a Winner

Winners aren’t born, they’re made. This goes the same for losers. Whether you do well in life or not will depend on the decisions you make and the actions you take or fail to take throughout your life.

The winner of a race wasn’t born to win that race, they made a conscious decision to do so and put in the effort to make it happen. People who end up in rehab or jail weren’t destined to be there from birth; they got there by continually making the wrong decisions and sticking to the wrong path.

Although you weren’t born a winner, you weren’t born a loser either. Whether you win or lose in the game of life mostly depends on how you choose to spend your time. Your future is always being adjusted by the decisions you make each day.

This means that even if your life isn’t going anywhere at the moment, you can change it. We all have the potential to be a winner as well as the potential to be a loser. The difference between the two paths comes down to what you decide to do on a daily basis. Both winners and losers have 24 hours each day.

If you want to be successful at something, find out what the successful people in that field do and do what they do. If they can mold themselves into a winner, so can you.
