If there was one trait that separates most people from success and failure, it’s persistence. Talent and skill will give you an advantage but it’s what you decide to do when you’re being faced with setback after setback that will ultimately determine whether or not you will succeed.
Most people’s reaction to a major setback is to give up. Those who keep going after their dreams by continually taking action and adjusting their strategy when necessary will gain more experience and knowledge in achieving what they want.
When they finally figure it out and put in the required time to achieve it, those looking from the outside will often see it as luck or talent. If only they knew.
