I Believe – I chose this as a song for its lyrics and dance beat. It seems as though whenever we set a goal, something or someone comes up that tells us we can’t do it. It may be a comment a friend makes or some sort of circumstance, whatever it is, when it’s discouraging, it can make your enthusiasm die and make you want to give up.
No matter what your dream is, there will be people who will ridicule you, laugh at you, and discourage you. The bigger the dream or goal, the more obstacles you will have to face. That’s just life. Not everyone is out to get you. Some will discourage you out of what they think is love. They just don’t want to see you get disappointed as they have probably been throughout their life.
Acknowledge people’s concerns or criticism and use it as a reason to not give up. You don’t want to be in the same position where you bring others down and kill their dreams just because you gave up on yourself and never got yours. You’ll know you’ve lost if you ever get to that point in life.
