There are those who look at successful people and see them as lucky. Is it really luck that an athlete gets to be part of the Olympics? Is it luck that someone fulfills their dream of becoming a nurse or doctor? Is it luck that a particular student gets to be the valedictorian? Well, perhaps. Or, it could be the fact that most people who are successful at what they do dedicate every day of their life to achieve what they achieved.

I remember reading a story where an audience member walked up to a pianist after his performance and said something along the lines of, “I’d give up everything to be able to play like you.” The pianist replied by saying, “I did.”

The harder you work, the greater your chances of success. The greater your success, the more likely people will see it as luck.
